As a youth, Drew began performing magic and juggling to compensate for his shyness. Now he performs solo clown plays to take advantage of his baldness.
Drew studied clown and movement theatre at Ohio University and the Jacques Lecoq School in Paris. After recovering from those experiences, Drew moved to Chicago. He has performed all over the U.S. in theatres and festivals, including The Links Hall Clownarchy Rules! Festival, The 2nd New York International Festival of Clown-Theatre, and The Philadelphia Fringe Festival.
Last year, Drew was an artist in residence with the Chicago Park District Arts Partners program.
He also teaches workshops in dramatic foolery to children, actors, and humor-needy medical students.
